St. Anne Parish invites you to join us in our efforts to build a more just and fraternal world through Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl. We make the most impact when we take action with others, so we’re coming together this Lent.
Bringing together our Lenten alms as a community this Lent can help end global hunger and malnutrition. Community giving helps support families in more than 100 countries get access to enough nutritious food not only to survive, but to thrive. Whether in-person, online, or in spirit—our community can come together to pray, fast, and give through CRS Rice Bowl.
Pick up your Rice Bowl at any of our main entrances or donate online here:
WEEKDAY MASS Many people find daily Mass to be a significant part of their Lenten experience. Mass will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m. on the Tuesdays of Lent at St. Anne, as well as at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday-Friday at Resurrection; and at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday and Friday at St. Anne. This simpler version of Lord’s Day Mass provides a break from routines to re-focus and pray.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS Join in this ancient devotion following the way of Jesus to the cross at 5:30 p.m. Thursdays at St. Anne and 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Resurrection.
RECONCILIATION There will be two weekly opportunities throughout the season of Lent to celebrate the sacrament of Reconciliation. In conjunction with the Jubilee Year of Hope, the sacrament will be offered from 9-10 a.m. Saturdays at Church of the Resurrection beginning March 2. The sacrament also will be offered at St. Michael at 3 p.m. Saturdays. NOTE: For the duration of the Jubilee Year, Reconciliation will not be offered at St. Anne.
ADORATION Time spent with the Lord is always good time. Adoration will be offered twice during Lent: Tuesday, March 11 and Tuesday, April 8 from 1-5 p.m. at Church of the Resurrection. Come and go as your schedule allows. Prayer resources will be available to guide your prayer.
SOUP LUNCHES Lent soup lunches will be served again this year on Wednesdays, March 12-April 16, in Brennan Hall at Church of the Resurrection from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Check the bulletin each week to find out what kind of soup will be served.
EXPLORING SCRIPTURE The readings proclaimed at Mass on the Lord’s Days of Lent are pondered and discussed in two weekly scripture study gatherings — at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anne and 9 a.m. Friday in the St. Michael office.
